I have been referred to as a hoarder for much of our life. I do disagree with that label, although I also understand how most of our beloved possessions can be considered overwhelming to some people. I mean, I collect a whole lot of great stuff. I have over 17 televisions, and 11 of them task almost perfectly! I also have at least 100 yards of copper wiring, which only needs to be untangled, stripped and straightened; Lastly, I have accrued well over 4 dozen pieces of Heating and A/C equipment in the past 15 years or so. It’s incredible to me how people throw out their outdated gas furnaces and cooling system units separate from a second’s worth of thought! I come across them in many places, simply laying on curbs, in dumpsters, and out by the garbage dump all the time. When people get a new or current heating or cooling system and simply abandon their old, rusted temperature control equipment. All They see is a pile of useless nuts and bolts, sharp metal, and some hazardous internal components but not me! I see Heating and A/C equipment and our mind is completely flooded with endless opportunities! That’s why I constantly haul it back to my lake condo and store it in the back shed. My friends and family have chided me over the years, saying I should at least get rid of the outdated heating and cooling supplies, if not more things. Well, it’s a great thing I never listened! Just last month, our own well worn and outdated heating system randomly started making a lot of unexpected noises and started to stink. When I called a local Heating and A/C corporation, he instantly told me that the central heating equipment was beyond repair, then he started quoting me for all current parts for new heating systems, although I had everything I needed already! We went to the shed out back and poked around the outdated heating equipment. Within a day, our little lake condo was perfectly heated again.
