Heating at college

I was so gleeful to get around to beginning my classes that related to my chosen career path this past semester. I had gone through numerous boring years of classes that were far more general, and most didn’t apply in the least to what I actually wanted to do in life. At times it was frustrating, because I really wanted to get down to the nitty gritty and just wanted to spend my time and currency really learning about my major. I got through the GenEds, however, and then began my new classes a few weeks ago. I would say that things are going… okay. See, the new class that is my absolute number one favorite interest, comes with some struggles. It’s not that the class is too hard, so much as the classroom where it is held is always too cold… Even when the weather gets warmer outdoors, somehow that classroom is even colder. Of course I don’t want to be labeled as ‘that guy’ that gets into the real world and complains about being cold… But at the same time, my work is being affected!  All I want to do is focus on what we’re learning each day, but I can’t because I’m shivering and my poor little feet are going numb. The teacher seems to dislike the temperature in there as much as I do, so it’s not like i even have anyone to talk to about the temperature! She actually doesn’t have control over the Heating & A/C! It sucks because I finally savor this class, I just wish it would be held in a different room with a better oil furnace.
